Partial And Complete Denture Options To Rebuild Your Smile and Restore Your Quality Of Life

Are you missing teeth in Pasadena, California? Dentures from Pasadena Prosthodontics are a fantastic solution for restoring your smile’s function and appearance. Whether you have lost a few or all teeth, our certified prosthodontists, Dr. Christopher Marchack, and the team offer high-quality dentures to restore your smile.

Denture options in our office

If you are missing a few or all of your original teeth, dentures present an effective solution for tooth loss. Dentures may be artificial, but they are crafted with the utmost skills to ensure your restoration mimics your natural teeth as closely as possible.

The following are denture options you can enjoy in our office:

  • Complete dentures: Full dentures are recommended to replace all missing teeth in one arch or both. These dentures have a set of prosthetic teeth mounted on a base colored like your gums
  • Partials: These dentures are ideal if you only have some missing teeth in the mouth. Partials are secured to the neighboring teeth using detachable metal clasps. Partials “bridge” a gap between two healthy teeth, restoring your oral function and aesthetics

Our prosthodontic team conducts an in-depth oral exam to determine the denture types ideal for your smile. Rest assured, we’ll work to give you the best restorations to fit your oral needs and lifestyle.

Before & After Results

What to expect from denture treatment

You need about two to three appointments to restore your smile with dentures. After an initial exam to determine if dentures are right for you, the doctor will take impressions of your jaw, teeth, and other structures to create a reference for our dental lab to fabricate your bespoke dentures.

After a couple of days, your dentures will be ready. You’ll come to our office to try your new restorations. After a few adjustments, your dentures will be ready for fitment. During the first few days, your dentures may feel heavy and awkward. However, after some days, you will wear your dentures without any discomfort.

Your dentures are created from high-quality materials, but they require optimal care for longevity and to keep looking their best. We’ll give you tips for caring for your dentures at home. Additionally, we’ll advise you to see a dentist every six months for professional dental cleaning and inspecting the condition of your dentures.
