Professional Teeth Cleaning in Pasadena CA Area

Has it been over six months since your last dental cleaning? Or you’ve never been to a dentist? It’s never too late to put your smile on a healthy track. Please schedule an appointment with our trusted dentists and hygienists.

Why do dental cleanings matter?

Life can get hectic, and with so many responsibilities, it’s easy to let dental cleanings slip down your list of priorities. Whether it’s a packed schedule or dental anxiety keeping you from dental hygiene appointments, it’s important to remember that skipping these appointments can have serious consequences.

Whatever life throws at you, don’t jeopardize your oral health by skipping routine cleanings. Here are the numerous benefits of professional cleanings.

  1. Prevention: Do you brush and floss your teeth daily? Congratulations! At-home oral hygiene is the first line of keeping your smile healthy, but that alone isn’t enough. No matter how long you clean your teeth at home, you can’t reach all the areas of your mouth. That’s why you need bi-annual dental cleanings to remove built-up unhealthy deposits. Regular dental cleanings prevent gum disease, bad breath, decay, and other dental issues.
  2. Early detection of issues: During dental cleanings, the dentist inspects your teeth, gums, and other oral problems to detect and treat them before they progress. Sometimes, the dentist can use dental X-rays to unearth problems like infected canals and tooth impaction, even before they exhibit symptoms.
  3. Promotes overall oral health: Dental cleanings aren’t about preventing cavities but promoting overall wellness. How? You may ask. Several studies have shown a close relationship between oral and systemic health. Dental issues like periodontal disease can increase the risk of heart disease, diabetes, pregnancy complications, and other issues. You may not know it, but keeping your mouth healthy protects your heart, unborn baby, and other aspects of your systemic health.
  4. Brighten your smile: We love them, but coffee, red wine, tea, and other foods can stain our teeth. Smoking can also change the appearance of our smile. While professional teeth whitening is the standard procedure for restoring your smile’s glow, a dental clean can remove surface stains to leave your teeth freshly polished. It’s a minor cosmetic upgrade but can make all the difference to your appearance and confidence.
  5. Save money: Dental cleanings are truly an investment in oral health, potentially saving you hundreds of dollars in future treatment costs. By catching and treating issues like cavities early, you can avoid the need for more expensive procedures like crowns or root canals. Regular cleanings are a smart, cost-effective way to protect your smile and wallet.
