Complete Mouth Restoration in Pasadena CA Area

What does full mouth reconstruction involve?

Do you have severe, ongoing dental issues? Dealing with one issue in isolation can create a cycle of never-ending problems. Full mouth restoration is a comprehensive dental treatment that combines multiple restorative and cosmetic dental treatments to provide a long-lasting solution to your dental issues.

Your full mouth rehabilitation can combine the following treatments.

  • Dental implants: Dental implants are the number one recommended method for replacing one or more teeth. They are firmly anchored in the jawbone, providing remarkable stability when eating or talking. Dental implants look natural and last many years with diligent maintenance.
  • Dental crowns: Dental caps envelope the remaining tooth structure to restore your tooth’s structure to its prime state. Dental crowns are often the go-to choice for extensively damaged teeth. They are also recommended after a root canal or tooth replacement with an implant or bridge.
  • Dental fillings: We repair minor tooth decay and damage with tooth-colored fillings (composites). Placing dental fillings is a quick, painless, and minimally invasive procedure.
  • Periodontal care: No matter how strong your teeth are, they won’t last if the foundation (gums) is weak. Periodontal therapy treats oral infections to ensure you maintain optimal gum health.
  • Bridges: A dental bridge is a conservative yet secure solution for missing teeth. Unlike a denture that rests on the gums, a dental bridge is secured to the surrounding teeth to provide stability when eating or talking.

What can I expect from full mouth restoration?

A full mouth restoration is a comprehensive process designed to restore your smile’s health, function, and appearance. It’s ideal for extensive dental damage, widespread tooth loss, or advanced bite issues.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Consultation: Your full mouth restoration is a personalized dental experience. We begin with a detailed examination with digital X-rays, scans, and a physical evaluation. This helps identify cavities, gum disease, misaligned bites, and other issues. We’ll customize your treatment plan based on your specific needs.
  • Foundation building: We’ll address critical oral health issues to establish a solid foundation. This may involve treating infections and decay to ensure your gums and teeth are healthy enough to support restorations.
  • Staged approach: We administer full mouth restoration in phases  to ensure every treatment builds upon the previous one. For instance, crowns or fillings are placed once decay is treated to restore tooth structure. Similarly, alignment issues may be corrected before placing bridges or implants. The staged approach optimizes your comfort, budget, and availability.
  • Maintenance: Full mouth restoration ensures a healthier, stronger, and more beautiful smile. Diligent care is vital to ensure your results last many years. Brush and floss your teeth daily and visit your dentist every six months.
