How do All-On-4 dental implants work?

Traditional dentures rely on suction and adhesives to remain secure in the mouth. Unfortunately, these mechanisms aren’t foolproof and can fail over time, especially when your jawbone shrinks because of extended tooth loss. Loose dentures can be a source of embarrassment and gum irritation.

All-on-4 dental implants are a life-changing experience for replacing missing teeth. Think of all-on-4 implants like a table supported by four sturdy legs. Just as a table stays stable with four well-positioned stands, your new smile is securely supported by dental implants strategically placed in your jawbone. These implants act like anchors, holding your full arch of prosthetic teeth firmly in place, without the need for individual implants for each missing tooth.

Are all-on-4 dental implants worth it?

Even the best-fitting dentures can slip on occasion. That’s why many prefer implant-supported dentures because of their stability and natural feel. Here are the life-changing benefits of the All-On-4 system:

  • Natural aesthetics: Forget the fake-looking dentures you saw your grandma wear. All-on-4 dentures are created with life-like materials for a realistic appearance.
  • Enhanced oral functionality: Regain your optimal speaking and chewing ability with implant-supported dentures in Pasadena, California.
  • Durability: Implant dentures are designed to last. They can last several decades, even a lifetime, depending on your stage of life.
  • Stability: No more worrying about embarrassing slippage when eating, speaking, or sneezing. All-on-4 dentures remain secure in the mouth at all times.
  • Jawbone regeneration: Implants can stimulate your jawbone to regenerate to maintain its height and width for optimal jaw function and aesthetics.
  •  Confidence boost: Laugh, smile, speak, and enjoy life without holding back. Dental implant patients feel like themselves again.

How much do all-on-4 dental implants cost in Pasadena?

All-on‑4 isn’t just a standard procedure—it’s a customized smile solution. Factors like bone density, smile goals, and oral health status affect your treatment cost. That’s why we can’t provide an upfront cost without an in-person evaluation.

During this visit, we’ll review the following to determine your treatment cost:

  • Your oral health and imaging
  • Need for adjunct treatments like extractions and periodontal disease treatment
  • Discuss materials and final restoration options

Do you need All-On-4 implants? We invite you to schedule a consultation so we can craft a treatment plan—and cost estimate—tailored just for you.

Are All-On-4 dental implants removable?

No. You cannot remove your All-on-4 dental implants, even when cleaning your teeth. Unlike traditional dentures that rest on the gums and can be taken out daily, All-On-4 implants are fixed permanently in place. Only a dental professional can remove the prosthesis if needed for maintenance or repairs.

If you want to clean your restoration, you’ll brush and floss your new teeth just like natural teeth. There’s no need to remove your teeth or use special detergents. This convenient maintenance is another reason why All-On-4 implants are popular.
